Out and Abou

 Within the first few days the adventures started. Looking at these pictures now make me a little sad, because the homework has begun to pile up, and the clouds seem to be anticipating piling up the snow too. But this was probably one of the greatest days of life though. We had a BALL. Slept it. Woke up went boating. Football Game. All the while listening to country music...if you were wondering..because yes. that makes a HUGE difference. I sure have come to love these girls and am grateful for their friendship. All adventures have their season. I look forward to falls! ...okay i guess utah kind of skips fall...it snowed today..lets pray winter is slow in coming.

Saw Dust Festival

aren't hands amazing? My family and I went to the saw dust festival before I came back up to BYU for fall semester. The first thing we did when we walked in was spin a wheel. I have taken a ceramics class and love it so much! Not saying that I'm any good...but i find it so interesting. I love the gifts that hands our in our lives. I love my parents...that they use their hands to create, help, serve and love. If you take a moment to look at your hands..think..what can they accomplish?

Splish Splash Im Taking a Bath

Before I came back out to BYU for the fall, My family and i went to this darling little beach to have a loverly picnic of roast beef sandwiches and bananas, with, of course,  assorted chips from trader joes. I loved it...to say the very simplest phrase. There is something about the beach that has become healing, or soothing to my soul. I feel so blessed to live so close to it. I can't believe we've lived in HB for over 5 years now! It surely has become home. and that is a wonderful feeling. 

I feel friendship is one of the more amazing things in life. These three girls sure have blessed my life, and their friendship means the world to me! Its funny to look back and see how our friendships have progressed. All at their own paces with nudges of life along the way. Somehow, we were blessed to all be together. We were all in Utah at the same time, Emily and Courtney for a family reunion, and Tessa moving, and I at school. It was amazing to have these four California girls outside of the state we call home, because I found myself in a state of utter bliss. It simply moved me for some reason. These are the girls I got through high school with. Now, we're all of to college. strange how quickly time passes. Id like to sit here and type our entire story starting from when I met Emily at a birthday party to Courtney getting baptized, to new schools, new countries, new adventures, all ending in the same amazing friendship. But I fear my words would not be able to get the message across. All I can say now, is that I sure love this girls, and am grateful for the amazing thing in life that friendship is.
